Your Event at Harmer Hill Village Hall
Refurbished in 2009 with the help of the Big Lottery Fund, the hall provides an excellent venue for a range of events. It is available for private hire and has been used for:
Private celebrations eg birthdays, christenings, weddings
Jumble sales or other fundraising activities
The village hall has a main room with a wooden dance floor and an adjacent carpeted area with seating and newly installed bar. There is a modern kitchen and effective central heating making the hall a pleasant environment all year round.
Chairs, tables and cups and saucers are available with every hiring and can be hired separately. Hirers appreciate the large surfaced car park immediately behind the hall. There is easy access and facilities for the disabled.
If hirers wish to sell alcohol at an event, a "Temporary Event Notice" MUST be applied for and secured from the County Council (www.shropshire.gov.uk/license) prior to the event. Hire rates vary with the nature of the event and the length of hire.
Hirers from the local parish (Myddle & Broughton) have a discounted rate. Please contact the Bookings Secretary for further details.
Our month by month calendar shows all regular events at the village hall and can be used in order to check the date you require is available. Once date is agreed and reserved, event will be listed as "PRIVATE BOOKING".
